In February 2021, HAZEMAG Systems received an order from Cerro Matoso for the delivery of a HAZEMAG Center Sizer HCS 0825. The Center Sizer with a roll diameter of 800 mm and a roll length of 2.5 meters, is designed for 1,284 t/h of nickel laterite ore.
The HAZEMAG Center Sizer 0825 is equipped with intelligent and patented crushing tools with replaceable wear caps as well as adjustable and exchangeable scrapers. These special HAZEMAG design features allow for handling of sticky material with water content of up to 30 %
The wet lateritic nickel ore is crushed from 750 mm to < 190 mm without any restriction.
In addition, the sizer is equipped with a roll locking device and a track roll lifting device.
With the roll locking device all HAZEMAG crushing rolls can be fixed in position for safe maintenance. This roll locking device is integrated into the crusher interlocking system. The track roll lifting device is a system that easily permits and transports the sizer out from under the feed hopper; thus, permitting full access to the sizer and its internal parts.
The Center Sizer will be installed within the existing facilities, with commissioning due to take place in mid-2022.
